When the tide rises, locals along the coast prepare their traditional fishing traps and nets, setting them in place to catch the sea’s bounty. As the water recedes with the ebbing tide, small canals and streams near the shore become alive with various small fish. It is a daily rhythm deeply tied to nature, one that the residents of Himchari village know well. Among them is Abu Zafar, who brought along his grandson to teach him the age-old way of fishing by the sea.
