As late autumn in Cox’s Bazar turned unusually hot—its air thick with heat and humidity—nature decided to intervene.

On Sunday (November 2) night, around 9:30pm, the sky suddenly broke open and rain began to fall.

First a drop, then another, and soon a steady downpour washed over the coastal city, like nature herself whispering a message of calm and renewal.

After a day of oppressive heat, this November rain brought instant relief to both residents and tourists. Following weeks of dry weather, the sound of raindrops was enough to put smiles on many faces.

“It was unbearably hot all day; we could hardly stay indoors,” said local resident Sadia Islam. “But the moment it started raining, it felt like life came back again!”

The rain also transformed the beach into a scene of quiet beauty, where the waves met the clouds under a dim sky. Some people strolled along the wet sand with umbrellas, while others chose to get drenched, enjoying every moment of the rare coastal rainfall.

For many, this November rain was not just about comfort—it stirred emotions as well.

It became a symbol of nostalgia, love, and the gentle rhythm of life, much like the song that shares its name.

According to the Cox’s Bazar Met Office, light to moderate rain may continue intermittently over the next few days.

After days of scorching sun, this November rain feels like a tender reminder that nature still knows how to love back.
