The written examination for the recruitment of assistant teachers in government primary schools will be held on Friday, starting at 3:00 pm. In Cox’s Bazar district, the exam will take place at 18 centres, with a total of 15,054 candidates appearing.

District Primary Education Officer Md Shaheen Mia Chowdhury told the media that all preparations for the examination have been completed.

He said the recruitment test is being conducted against 123 vacant posts in the district. The exam will be held in the MCQ format, carry 90 marks, and last for 1.5 hours.

The 18 examination centres are:
Baytush Sharaf Jabbari Academy (Centre-1 and Centre-2), Cox’s Bazar City College, Cox’s Bazar Government College, Cox’s Bazar Government Girls’ High School, Cox’s Bazar Government High School, Cox’s Bazar Government Women’s College, Cox’s Bazar Technical School and College, Cox’s Bazar Hashemiya Kamil Madrasa, Cox’s Bazar Model High School, Cox’s Bazar Polytechnic Institute, Cox’s Bazar Adarsha Women’s Kamil Madrasa, Cox’s Bazar Islamiya Women’s Kamil Madrasa, Khurushkul High School, Cox’s Bazar Municipal Preparatory High School, PTI Adjacent Experimental School, Saikat Girls’ High School, and South Khurushkul Model High School.

Authorities said SMS notifications have already been sent to candidates’ registered mobile numbers with instructions to download their admit cards. To enter the examination hall, candidates must bring a colour printout of the downloaded admit card along with their original National Identity Card (NID/smart card).

Officials have urged candidates to strictly follow all examination instructions to ensure the test is conducted smoothly and orderly.
