Electricity supply will remain suspended in several areas of Cox’s Bazar town on Sunday, May 25, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM due to scheduled maintenance and tree-trimming work around 11kV power lines. The Power Development Board (PDB) has announced the outage as part of its ongoing efforts to repair and maintain the 11kV feeders under its local office.
According to a notification issued by the Executive Engineer of the PDB’s Distribution Division, power will be cut off in the following areas: Sikdar Para, Barua Para, BGB Camp Area, Chowdhury Para, Submarine Cable Office vicinity, North side of Ali Jahal Road, SM Para, Godar Para, Khuruskul Road Junction, Majherghat, Peshkarpara Switch Gate, Malaria Office Road, Burmese School Road, Kazi Office Road, Seagull Tower Area, Bazarghata, Baro Masjid Area, Kamar Patti, Rice Market Road, Asimong Peshkar Para, Poura Super Market, and surrounding neighborhoods.
Residents are advised to make necessary preparations to minimize inconvenience during the planned outage.
