After 18 long years, the students of the SSC Batch 2007 of Ukhiya Government High School reunited in a heartwarming celebration of friendship and shared memories. Held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, the Eid reunion transformed the school’s premises into a vibrant hub of laughter, nostalgia, and renewed bonds.
The event commenced at 9 a.m. with a recitation from the Holy Quran and a warm welcome to beloved teachers, whose presence lent the morning an air of inspiration and emotion. Many participants fondly recalled the unforgettable days of student life in 2007, when their friendships first blossomed.
Following a delightful lunch, the atmosphere was further enlivened with a captivating cultural program. Batchmate Russell and popular singer Hiru graced the stage with their musical performances, leaving everyone thoroughly entertained.
To heighten the excitement, a raffle draw was organized, with participants eagerly purchasing tickets for a chance to win prizes. The raffle draw added an extra layer of enthusiasm and joy among friends.
The day concluded amidst lively conversations, laughter, shared memories, and playful banter—an unforgettable chapter in the journey of friendship. Participants expressed hope that such reunions would continue in the future, strengthening the bonds that have withstood the test of time.
