In preparation for the National Citizen Party’s (NCP) upcoming central program, the ‘July March’ scheduled for July 19, SM Suza Uddin, Joint Member Secretary of the NCP Central Committee, conducted an extensive public outreach campaign across Maheshkhali upazila in Cox’s Bazar.

Starting Thursday morning (July 10), Suza visited various areas of Maheshkhali Municipality and Hoanak Union, sharing the message of the ‘July March’ with local residents. Engaging in street meetings and direct interactions, he listened to community concerns and encouraged participation in the upcoming program.

Speaking to residents, Suza said; “With the upcoming visit of NCP’s central leadership, a festive atmosphere is building across Cox’s Bazar. People are eager to meet the leaders, and we believe the ‘July March’ on July 19 will be remembered as a significant day in Cox’s Bazar’s political history.”

As part of the central program, a delegation of top NCP leaders — including Convener Nahid Islam, Akhtar Hossain, Nasir Uddin Patwari, Tasnim Jara, Hasnat Abdullah, and Sarjis Alam — are set to arrive in Cox’s Bazar on July 19.

In the lead-up to the event, Suza and local NCP teams have intensified promotional activities across Maheshkhali, conducting grassroots outreach in areas including Chankhola Para, Hariyarchhara, Kathaltali Para, Timebazar Para, Puichhara, Borachhara, Rajuar Ghona, Karuntoli, Moharakata, and Panirchhara under Hoanak Union.

The initiative aims to mobilise widespread local participation and strengthen the party’s grassroots presence in the region ahead of the central program.
