A new chapter of creative expression has begun at the Peace Centre in Chakaria, Cox’s Bazar. The upazila has launched a modern podcast studio, offering local youth fresh opportunities to explore their talents.
The studio offers an accessible space where anyone can now record their podcast with ease. Alongside audio recording, the facility also provides video editing support, enabling creators to produce polished content for social media and other digital platforms.
Parvez Siddiqui, executive director of the Film4Peace Foundation, said the initiative was launched to nurture the creativity of students involved in the “Stories of Peace Through the Lens” project.
Organizers believe the studio will not only amplify young voices but also help them build new income opportunities from home.
The very next day after its inauguration, a representative from the High Commission of Canada visited the studio and interacted with young filmmakers. Calling the initiative timely and relevant, the representative encouraged the youth to continue advancing artistic activism.
Officials of the Peace Centre said they embarked on this journey with the belief that creative videos and podcasts made by young people can inspire positive social change. Artistic activism, they noted, can pave the way for real transformation.
