Bangladesh’s Sayeman hotel brand has won three awards at the South Asian Travel Awards 2026, marking its eighth consecutive year of recognition at the regional tourism event.

According to a press release from Sayeman Beach Resort, the 10th edition of the South Asian Travel Awards was held in Male, the capital of the Maldives, on October 8.

Sayeman’s cluster general manager, Pubudu Fernando, received the awards on behalf of the hotel group.

The three awards were Bangladesh’s Leading Resort and Hotel Brand for Sayeman, Bangladesh’s Leading Beach Hotel for Sayeman Beach Resort, and Bangladesh’s Leading Heritage Hotel and Resort for Sayeman Heritage.

Fernando said the recognition reflected the organization’s employees’ collective efforts.

‘I believe this achievement is a shared success of every member of our organisation. This recognition has been made possible by our common goals, cooperation and the sincerity and dedication of our colleagues in carrying out their responsibilities every day,’ he said.

Established in 1964, Sayeman is a recognised name in Bangladesh’s tourism industry. Through Sayeman Beach Resort and Sayeman Heritage in Cox’s Bazar, the group combines modern resort experiences with historical heritage and distinctive hospitality.
