A 16 kg bhol fish was brought for sale at Cox’s Bazar Fishery Ghat this morning (September 24). Rafik, the fish’s trader, set the price at Tk15,000. Upon its arrival, the fish immediately attracted a crowd of buyers.
Rafik said that while his asking price is Tk15,000, he is willing to sell it if he gets an offer of Tk14,000 or higher.
Meanwhile, various small and large fish species have arrived at the ghat throughout the morning.
However, the impressive bhol fish captured the most attention from buyers.
