As rain and windy storms are no longer possible in the northern Bay of Bengal and the adjacent coastal areas of Bangladesh, the Meteorological Office lifted local cautionary signals no. 3 from all seaports, including Cox’s Bazar, Chittagong, Mongla, and Payra.

The Assistant Meteorologist of Cox’s Bazar Meteorological Department confirmed this development by issuing a notification today (October 6).

On October 3, the Meteorological Department issued a local cautionary signal no—3 at four maritime ports.
