The place known as “Pechar Dwip” (Owl Island) is not an island. It’s a road leading to Goalia Palong, a village in Khuniapalong Union of Ramu Upazila, Cox’s Bazar.

This scenic route, nestled between small, lush green hills and paved with smooth black asphalt, offers an enchanting environment.

Within a short time, it has gained several names among tourists—some call it “Pechar Dwip,” others “Ruposhi Goalia Palong,” while some refer to it as “Mini Bandarban.”

The towering hills and the lush greenery of “Goalia Dhala” are mesmerizing. The winding road that cuts through these hills provides breathtaking views. The harmony between the mountains and the road creates a thrilling and picturesque tourist journey.

Located about 18 kilometers south of Cox’s Bazar town, Goalie Dhala is accessible via Cox’s Bazar-Teknaf Marine Drive. After reaching the Rejukhal Bridge, the road to Goalia comes into view.

Visitors can walk to this natural haven from there. While some refer to it as “Mini Bandarban,” it has recently gained popularity as “Ruposhi Goalia.”
