From the remote village of Shaplapur in Maheshkhali upazila, Cox’s Bazar, Nurul Alam has always dreamed of serving the underprivileged in his community.
His wish came true when he secured a job that allowed him to fulfill this mission.
In 2011, he joined Kayadabad Community Clinic as a provider under the supervision of Maheshkhali Upazila Health Complex and the Cox’s Bazar Civil Surgeon.
For 13 years, Nurul Alam has been tirelessly offering medical care to the poor and needy.
Speaking to Cox’s Bazar Life, he shared, “For 13 years, I have been relentlessly serving the helpless people of my village. In addition to regular treatment, I provide nutrition services for children and pregnant women, assist in normal deliveries, and register and refer NCD patients.”
Over the years, he has built close relationships with people from all walks of life and wishes to maintain these bonds for the rest of his life.
