This is the market of the cobblers—a dedicated space for 22 cobblers who have come together to form the Cox’s Bazar Boot Polish Market. The Cox’s Bazar Development Authority established this unique marketplace to rehabilitate cobblers who once worked along the streets.

One of them, Nayan Das, has spent years working alongside Lal Dighi, braving sun, storms, and rain as part of an extended family tradition. Now, he and 21 other cobblers work under one roof, continuing their craft with newfound ease.

Locals appreciate that they no longer see cobblers wandering from street to street. Instead, people can visit this dedicated space to have their shoes polished or repaired on time, adding a sense of community and convenience for both cobblers and customers.
