Joynal Abedin, a talented young man from Shamlapur in Baharchhara Union of Teknaf, represents Bangladesh at the “Seminar on the Future of Education in Scouting” in Nepal. Joynal is currently a fourth-year student in the Sociology Department at Dhaka University.

Since joining Dhaka University, Joynal has been an active Dhaka University Rover Scout Group member and is currently serving as a Rover Mate. 

He has participated in various national and international activities, including flood response in 2024, traffic control efforts, and firefighting during the 2023 Bangabazar incident.

The Asia-Pacific Region (APR) and the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) are organizing a five-day international workshop in Lalitpur, Nepal, from November 13-17. Eight representatives from Bangladesh Scouts are attending. 

Expressing his excitement about representing Bangladesh on the global stage, Joynal said, “I am committed to enhancing the country’s reputation and image. My goal is to dedicate myself to serving the nation.”
