The 22nd Bangladesh Business Excellence Awards 2024 honored Mohammad Osman Goni, the owner of Automan Eco Concrete Industries in Cox’s Bazar, with the “Most Environmental Eco Concrete Industry” award.
Bangladesh-China Club Limited and Mirror organized the event, which took place on Monday, November 20, at The Westin Hotel, Gulshan, Dhaka. Mohammad Touhid Hossain, Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, presented the award.
Automan Eco Concrete Industries has revolutionized construction by producing eco-friendly concrete blocks made from cement, sand, and stone—eliminating the need for traditional bricks that harm the environment.
A smoke-free and fuel-free process creates these blocks, paving the way for sustainable construction throughout Bangladesh.
Mohammad Osman Goni expressed his delight at receiving the award, stating, “The environment is part of us. With this in mind, I founded Ottoman Eco Concrete Industries to demonstrate how an environmentally friendly industry can flourish. Our blocks provide a low-cost alternative to bricks, suitable for constructing everything from large buildings to other structures, all while preserving the environment.”
