The Tourist Police Cox’s Bazar Region, in collaboration with the Fire Service and Civil Defense, conducted a comprehensive firefighting drill to enhance preparedness and disaster response capabilities.
The exercise allowed Tourist Police personnel to refine their fire safety and emergency management skills, ensuring improved services during any crisis.
The drill occurred Wednesday morning at the Tourist Police Cox’s Bazar Regional Office premises.
Under the supervision of Inspectors Abdul Mukit and A. K. M. Ashraf from the Tourist Police and led by Station Master Zahid of the Fire Service, the personnel participated in a hands-on training session focusing on effective firefighting techniques.
Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Abul Kalam, the media spokesperson for the Tourist Police in Cox’s Bazar Region, commented on the initiative, saying, “We are committed to enhancing the capabilities of every member of the Tourist Police to provide exceptional service to visitors.” We continue to support tourist safety and well-being initiatives.”
