The Youth Development Directorate in Cox’s Bazar hosted a discussion on building a youth-driven Bangladesh yesterday.
Organized by the District Information Office, the event was presided over by the Deputy Director of the Youth Development Directorate, Md. Moazzem Hossain. The Deputy Commissioner of Cox’s Bazar, Mohammad Salahuddin, attended as the chief guest.
In his remarks, Salahuddin emphasized the role of youth in shaping a prosperous and inclusive Bangladesh. “In this era of globalization, it is the youth who will lead the way in creating a developed and equitable future for the nation,” he said.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Asif Ahmed Hawladar, District Information Officer Md. Abdus Shattar, and representatives from the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement attended the discussion, among others.
Over 300 young participants attended the event, which featured a concept paper on the role and significance of youth in nation-building.
