Cox’s Bazar International University (CBIU) has signed an academic partnership agreement with Emporia State University, a prestigious 150-year-old institution in the USA.
The agreement was formalized on December 17 at CBIU’s conference hall, where Dr. William Phillips, Associate Dean of Emporia State University, and Professor Kazi Mostain Billah, Dean of CBIU, signed the bilateral partnership contract.
Key representatives from both universities attended the ceremony, including Dr. Muhammad Sajedur Rahman, Professor of Computer Science at Emporia State University, and CBIU officials such as Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Touhid Hossain Chowdhury, Academic Advisor Professor Dr. Toufique Saeed, Professor Sadat Zaman Khan, Administrative Advisor Khorshedur Rahman, and Acting Registrar Muhammad Hamidur Rahman. Department heads, faculty members, and university officials were also present.
The partnership opens avenues for CBIU students to pursue various scholarship programs at Emporia State University.
Eligible students will have the opportunity to enroll in on-campus or online degree programs that foster global academic exchange and career development.
