Cox’s Bazar International University (CBIU) successfully held its Syndicate Meeting on Sunday afternoon in the university’s conference room. Professor Dr. Mohammad Touhid Hossain Chowdhury, acting vice-chancellor, presided over the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Education (Secondary and Higher Education Division) Khaleda Akter; CBIU Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees Lion Mohammad Mujibur Rahman; Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Trustees Mahbuba Sultana; Trustee and education enthusiast A.S.M. Saifur Rahman; UGC-nominated member Dr. Kazi S.M. Khairul Alam Kuddusi; Syndicate-nominated academician and Associate Professor of English at Chittagong Premier University, Sadat Zaman Khan; Dean of CBIU Professor Kazi Mostain Billah; Observer Member and former Registrar of Premier University Khurshidur Rahman; Acting Registrar Mohammad Hamidur Rahman; Chairperson of the Law Department Khan Habiba Mustarin; and Assistant Professor of Business Administration and Academic Council member Rajidul Haque.

The meeting focused on key internal matters, including reviewing proposals from previous meetings, in-depth discussions on various issues, and the formulation of significant decisions for the university’s development.
