A successful debate workshop was held yesterday at Cox’s Bazar Government High School, organized by the school’s Cultural Club. Renowned trainers Tanvirul Miraz Ripon and Rajin Saleh conducted the session and provided valuable insights into the Asian Parliamentary Debate.
During the workshop, the trainers elaborated on the importance of debate, strategies for effective argumentation, and the role of teamwork in achieving success. Students learned to present their views convincingly in various debate scenarios and gained hands-on experience in critical thinking and public speaking.
The trainers also provided a detailed overview of the rules and structure of the Asian Parliamentary Debate, making the session highly informative and engaging for the participants.
The school has scheduled a debate competition for January 5-6, building on the momentum of this workshop. Organizers believe that this event will significantly enhance students’ interest and skills in debating, fostering a culture of intellectual growth and collaboration.
