From playing the roles of prime ministers and ministers to parliamentarians, students of Cox’s Bazar Government High School stepped into an imaginary parliament through the dynamic stage of debate. Riding the waves of logic, they found themselves sailing through tides of reasoning—some with resolute arguments, others with fiery passion.

The school organized an Asian Parliamentary Debate Competition, blending education with entertainment. Four teams—Uttoron, Torkotorongo, Proloyshikha, and Bidroho—engaged in a spirited contest. Each team brought its flavour to the stage, but they were united by one purpose: the pursuit of reasoning.

The competition featured everything from prime ministerial policy declarations to fierce opposition by parliamentarians. Students didn’t just hone their debating skills; they also embraced the joy of learning. Each team’s performance reflected creativity, depth of thought, and courage, transforming the event into an intellectual spectacle.

This lively competition was not just a platform for showcasing the students’ intellect and oratory skills—it also served as a refreshing break from the monotony of academics. For many, it reignited a sense of purpose and excitement.

The spectators also found themselves engrossed, immersed in a theatrical performance where logic and imagination guided every scene. Though the competition concluded, it left behind an enduring lesson: reasoning is the ladder to success.
