The casuarina (Jhau) groves along the Cox’s Bazar shoreline are becoming fertile ground for local farmers cultivating various vegetables. The farmers are optimistic about a good yield thanks to the rich alluvial soil. Most locals engage in seasonal farming, producing rice, wheat, maize, chili, and gourds. This practice supports their livelihoods and adds a unique charm to the coastal area. These vibrant scenes of agricultural activity were captured in the Darianagar region, showcasing a harmonious blend of nature’s bounty and human endeavor.
