UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador and renowned Bangladeshi singer and actor Tahsan Khan visited the Rohingya refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar.

In a post on his verified Facebook page today, Tahsan shared his experience visiting the camps on Thursday, particularly in areas devastated by a massive fire a few weeks ago.

“It was a humbling experience to witness the aftermath of such a tragic incident,” he wrote. “Seeing how firefighters and emergency volunteers responded to save lives was truly inspiring. Just weeks after the devastation, people have begun to rebuild their lives from the rubble with support from refugee and humanitarian organizations.”

Tahsan expressed admiration for the refugees’ resilience, stating, “As a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador, I am inspired by the strength of these people who continue to endure hardship after hardship.”

Since 2019, Tahsan Khan has been a Goodwill Ambassador for the UNHCR, using his platform to raise awareness about the plight of refugees.
