In the hilly region of Shuknachhari, Cox’s Bazar, villagers have come together to construct a road through their efforts. Motivated by their community leader, Anwar Hossain, they addressed the long-standing hardship caused by the deteriorated dirt road.

The 55-year-old village leader, Anwar Hossain, shared that before starting the construction, a committee of residents was formed to oversee the project. The committee members have divided responsibilities—some collect funds, while others keep track of expenses.

The community successfully united for this initiative, with 370 families in the area. Many have contributed money according to their ability, while others have offered physical labour. Once completed, the new road is expected to ease transportation struggles and significantly improve daily life for the locals.
