Cox’s Bazar’s Ocean Paradise Hotel & Resort hosted a lavish Iftar party on Wednesday, March 19, for over 100 orphaned and underprivileged Quran students from various Hifz and orphanage institutions in the region at the hotel’s Shah Suja Hall Room.

The hotel’s Director, Abdul Kader Mishu, personally oversaw the arrangements for the young guests, while Major (Retd.) Sikder, an advisor to the hotel’s chairman, attended as a special guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Director Abdul Kader Mishu said:
“The holy month of Ramadan teaches us about equality. As tourism remains low during Ramadan, Ocean Paradise Limited has been organizing corporate-style iftar gatherings for orphaned students, just like tourists. Under the guidance of Chairman M.N. Karim, this tradition has been maintained for over a decade. Beyond iftar, we also host these children for Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha, ensuring they get to enjoy premium dishes like biryani and pulao.”

Several high-ranking hotel officials and department heads participated in serving the young guests, including HR Manager Mahbub Islam, Chief Accountant Mohammad Alamgir, Marketing Manager Imtiaz Nur Sumel, Engineer Arafat, Housekeeping Manager Mohammad Hossain, Food & Beverage Manager Sirajul Islam, Executive Chef Abu Naser Chowdhury, PR Officer Journalist Sayeed Alamgir, IT Officer Jisan, and Front Office Supervisor Adil.
