The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations are set to begin on Thursday, April 10. In Cox’s Bazar, 53 centers will host the exams, with a total of 29,079 students expected to participate.

According to the Education and ICT Wing of the Cox’s Bazar District Administration, 31 centers will conduct the SSC exams, accommodating 20,234 students. Meanwhile, 14 centers will host the Dakhil (Madrasah) exams with 7,281 students, and 8 centers will facilitate the Vocational exams for 1,564 students.

Among the nine upazilas in Cox’s Bazar, Chakaria, the largest in area, has the highest number of examinees. Across its 8 centers, 6,854 students will sit for the exams. Cox’s Bazar Sadar follows with 4,750 students across 7 centers, Moheshkhali  7 centers, 3,536 students, Ukhia 6 centers, 3,157 students, Ramu 7 centers, 2,540 students, Teknaf 7 centers, 2,523 students, Kutubdia 5 centers, 1,693 students, Pekua – 3 centers, 1,962 students, and Eidgaoo 3 centers, 1,864 students.

Authorities are ensuring necessary preparations to conduct the exams smoothly across the district.
