A low-pressure system has formed over the central-southern Bay of Bengal. According to meteorological reports, this system is expected to move northwestward over the next 24 hours, reaching the southwestern Bay of Bengal. It will likely shift northward over the following 48 hours and gradually settle over the west-central Bay of Bengal.

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has reported that a low-pressure area has developed over the central Bay of Bengal and adjoining regions, extending to West Bengal and nearby areas. The system is expected to continue moving northwest until Tuesday before gradually shifting northward.

Meteorologists predict this low-pressure system may intensify into a well-marked low and depression. As a result, parts of Bangladesh, including coastal regions, may experience rain from Friday onward. Authorities are monitoring the situation closely.
