Cox’s Bazar experienced its highest temperature of the year so far on Sunday, April 13, when the mercury soared to 36.8 degrees Celsius. According to the local Met Office, this is the highest temperature recorded in the district this season.
Assistant Meteorologist Abdul Hannan from the Cox’s Bazar Meteorological Office confirmed the data।
“Today’s temperature qualifies as a mild heatwave. We expect the temperature to continue rising gradually over the coming days,” he said.
