In a heartwarming initiative, the social organization Durbar Tarunno Foundation recently arranged a trip to Cox’s Bazar for over 200 underprivileged and orphaned children. Under the slogan “Everyone Will See Cox’s Bazar,” the children were brought from Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, and Rangpur last Saturday via buses for a two-night, three-day trip.

The foundation provided all their travel, accommodation, and meals, creating a memorable experience for the participants.

To enhance the joy of the trip, a cultural program was organized at a hotel conference hall in Cox’s Bazar last night. District Commissioner Mohammad Salahuddin graced the event as the chief guest.

The program, chaired by the foundation’s chairman, Muhammad Abu Abid, was attended by notable personalities, including former Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Finance Pirzada Shahidul Harun, Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Jashim Uddin Chowdhury, and Press Club President Mahbubur Rahman.

The initiative aimed to give the children, many of whom had never seen the sea before, a chance to experience the natural beauty of Cox’s Bazar. The program encompassed beach visits, games, and storytelling sessions, providing the children with unforgettable experiences.
