Fishermen’s nets are brimming with diverse types of sea fish this season, filling the market with a colorful array of marine species. With the fishing season in full swing, prices are also notably lower, according to vendors.
A firsthand visit to the Boro Bazar reveals wholesalers and retailers displaying fresh sea fish. From early morning onward, a steady stream of buyers filled the stalls.
Prices vary by type, with Surma fish selling at Tk300 per kg, Tella at Tk400, Hilsa from Tk800-Tk1000, Marine Eel at Tk400, Churi at Tk200, Coral at Tk500, Red Coral at Tk600, and Poissa at Tk150 per kg.
Each stall showcases a vivid slice of the ocean, inviting eager customers to indulge in this seasonal bounty.
