Cox’s Bazar International University (CBIU) has launched its Admission Fair, which will continue until March 7. The university’s Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Touhid Hossain Chowdhury, officially inaugurated the fair on Tuesday morning.
The inaugural event was attended by Professor Kazi Mustain Billah, Dean of the university; Khurshidur Rahman, Director (HR); Acting Registrar Rajidul Haque; and department heads, faculty members, and administrative officials.
CBIU currently offers undergraduate programs in six disciplines: Business Administration, English, Law (LLB), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Islamic Studies, and Hospitality & Tourism Management.
As part of the admission fair, students enrolling by March 7 will receive a 50% waiver on admission fees. Additionally, various scholarships, including 100% merit-based scholarships, are available. Beyond undergraduate programs, CBIU offers Master’s degrees in MBA, Islamic Studies, and English. The university provides diploma programs in Library and Information Science, Computer Science, and Hospitality and Tourism Management.
