The Cox’s Bazar unit of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society organized an awareness meeting today (November 5) in the Teknaf Upazila Parishad Hall to mark the third year of the Pilot Programmatic Partnership (PPP) project.
Unit Level Officer Asadul Haidar Promi conducted the meeting, with Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Syed Safkat Ali as the chief guest. Special guests included Project Implementation Officer Habibur Rahman, Abdul Karim, Deputy Director of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society’s Population Movement Operation, Abdul Malek, Program Coordinator for the German Red Cross, and DR Officer Tania Akter. Union secretaries and members of the Disaster Management Committee were also present.
Speakers expressed their commitment to supporting displaced Rohingya and local communities in advancing development and providing ongoing support during times of crisis.
