The anti-corruption debate competition for secondary schools, organized by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and facilitated by the District Durniti Protirodh Committee (DUPROK) concluded with Baitush Sharaf Jabbaria Academy emerging as the champion.
In a tense final round, Baitush Sharaf defeated last year’s champions, Cox’s Bazar Model High School. Sadia Rahman Ibnat, the team leader of Baitush Sharaf, was awarded the best speaker.
The competition occurred on Sunday, September 29, at Shaheed Subhash Hall in Cox’s Bazar Public Library.
The event was chaired by DUPROK President Professor Someshwar Chakraborty and moderated by General Secretary Jasim Uddin Bakul.
The Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Salahuddin, was the chief guest, praising both teams for their performances.
Special guests included Subel Ahmed, Deputy Director of ACC’s Integrated District Office in Cox’s Bazar, and MM Sirajul Islam, Director General of the Baitush Sharaf Complex.
The judges were Professor Mokbul Ahmed, Professor Ajit Das, and Professor Sharmin Siddika.
The results panel consisted of Minhaj Chowdhury, Nazneen Akhter Mary and Chaiti Das.
