The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has initiated the Under-18 Divisional Cricket Competition as part of its effort to form age-based national teams.
In this regard, a three-day final selection camp has begun at Cox’s Bazar’s Birshreshtha Ruhul Amin Stadium, featuring 58 players who passed the BCB’s medical evaluation.
The District Sports Association Member Secretary and District Sports Officer Main Uddin Milky are supporting the selection process under the guidance of the Deputy Commissioner and the supervision of the Additional Deputy Commissioner (General).
The BCB District Coach is leading the camp, with support from Level One Coach Sujit Das, Chakaria Cricket Academy Coach Nur Mohammad Mamun, and Pekua Cricket School Coach Amir Abdullah.
Upon completion of the selection camp, the Cox’s Bazar district team will participate in the cricket competition at venues designated by the BCB.
