Cox’s Bazar came alive with patriotic fervor as a captivating Bijoy Mela (Victory Fair) unfolded, featuring 18 creatively decorated stalls symbolizing Bangladesh’s journey toward freedom. The fairground, draped in the iconic red and green, resonated with stories of struggle, sacrifice, and triumph.

Boutique stalls displayed exquisite traditional designs, while handicraft exhibits showcased the lost art forms of ancient Bengal. 

A moving photo exhibition chronicled pivotal moments of history through the eyes of talented artists.

Food stalls buzzed with laughter and joy, offering local delicacies that added a festive flavor to the celebration. 

A medical service booth stood as a beacon of selfless care, providing essential services to visitors. Meanwhile, students’ wall art exhibits brimmed with dreams, aspirations, and love for the motherland, vividly painted on colorful canvases.

The Victory Fair became a grand cultural festival, blending heritage, art, education, and patriotism into a mesmerizing celebration. 

December 16 in Cox’s Bazar was a heartfelt tribute to Bangladesh’s victory, rekindling national pride and inspiring new hope.

The fair will be continued till December 19, said the authority.
