The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Kutubdia Upazila unit has organised a prayer gathering seeking forgiveness for the departed souls and the speedy recovery of the injured following the recent plane crash near Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka.
The prayer event was held on Monday afternoon at the BNP’s Kutubdia Upazila office, drawing the participation of party leaders, activists, and people from all walks of life in the local community.
Presided over by former Kutubdia Upazila BNP President Jalal Ahmed, the gathering was attended by former Upazila BNP General Secretary Nasir Uddin Haider, along with leaders and activists from BNP, Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal, and various affiliated organisations.
Prayers were offered for those who lost their lives in the tragic plane crash, and special supplications were made for the swift recovery of the injured.
Addressing the gathering, the leaders noted that such incidents plunge the entire nation into grief and urged the authorities to take effective measures to prevent such tragic accidents in the future.
