BNP Standing Committee Member and former State Minister for Communications Salahuddin Ahmed has arrived in Cox’s Bazar on a five-day visit aimed at spearheading election campaigning in Cox’s Bazar-1 (Chakaria-Pekua) constituency. He landed at Cox’s Bazar Airport on Tuesday morning (2 December 2025) and immediately headed to Chakaria by road to commence his political activities.
According to party sources, he will engage in mass outreach, rallies, and various social events in support of the BNP’s electoral symbol, ‘Sheaf of Paddy,’ throughout the tour, which runs until 7 December.
His itinerary, signed by Press Secretary Md. Safwanul Karim outlines a packed schedule of campaign events across multiple unions in the constituency.
