At the edge of the sea, brothers Hashem Molla and Karim Molla are busy cleaning their fishing nets. Karim Molla explained that they are both engaged in deep-sea fishing and will head out again tonight. These specialized nets are used exclusively to catch large marine shrimp and lobsters. Each complete net costs around Tk 4,000. The brothers own three such nets, which they use solely for lobster fishing. They live in their family home in the hilly village of Amtailah.
