Sales at Cox’s Bazar’s renowned Burmese Market, a popular tourist shopping destination, have dropped significantly.

The market, known for its distinctive offerings, such as Burmese pickles, dried fish, and other imported goods, has long been a must-see destination for visitors.

However, in recent weeks, market insiders said that a decrease in tourists visiting Cox’s Bazar has directly impacted purchasing activity, resulting in lower sales.

Many vendors are concerned about the current scenario as foot traffic decreases.
