A day-long career workshop was held at Cox’s Bazar International University (CBIU) on Wednesday, organised by the country’s leading job platform, Bdjobs.com.

The event, which took place at the university’s conference hall, focused on equipping students with strategies to stay ahead in the competitive job market. Sessions covered CV writing techniques, interview tips, and insights into the evolving employment landscape.

Training specialists from Bdjobs conducted interactive sessions, sharing their experience directly with the students and answering their queries.

Participants said the workshop boosted their confidence and provided practical guidance on job-hunting strategies.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Towhid Hossain Chowdhury, Dean Prof. Kazi Mustain Billah, Registrar Rajidul Haque, Bdjobs AGM Abu Firoz, and Manager ABM Totul were present at the event.

Speakers emphasised that skills are more critical than certificates in today’s highly competitive world. They said such workshops help students gain hands-on knowledge and real-world preparation.

Notably, following the workshop, two students from the BBA department were offered job placements at “Shwapno ACI,” based on their performance.
