Interim Government Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus participated in a discussion on the tourism and development prospects of Cox’s Bazar, organized by the district administration on Friday (March 14) afternoon.
At the beginning of the session, he addressed the audience in the Chattogram regional dialect, saying, “I haven’t come here just to speak; I am here to listen to you.”
The discussion brought together people from various professions and sectors to share insights on the region’s potential. Earlier in the day, Dr. Yunus arrived in Cox’s Bazar by air, accompanied by UN Secretary-General António Guterres.
Later, at around 5 PM, the Chief Adviser is scheduled to visit the Rohingya camps, where he will join Secretary-General Guterres and thousands of Rohingya refugees for a grand ‘Mega Iftar’ gathering.
