Through its Sea Safe Project, the Center for Injury Prevention and Research Bangladesh (CIPRB) in Cox’s Bazar equipped children with essential swimming skills.

This initiative focuses on building swimming competency among children aged 6-8 and 8-10, organizing community-based swimming competitions and lessons for them.

The most recent event occurred on November 9 in Khurushkul Hindu Para in Cox’s Bazar Sadar and Moktarkul in Ramu, where 37 children participated.

The competition concluded with the winners receiving prizes and all participants receiving consolation prizes as a token of appreciation for their efforts.

The CIPRB field team, including Field Team Manager Imtiaz Ahmed, Swim Safe Supervisor Shariful Islam Faras, Lifeguard Supervisor Md. Sifat, and Finance & Admin Hafiz Ahmad, supervised the program to ensure a safe and successful experience for the children.
