The Bangladesh Coast Guard has provided free medical services and essential medicines to over a hundred underprivileged individuals, including children, on the coral-rich island of Saint Martin’s.
On Thursday (January 23), from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the Coast Guard Eastern Zone, through BCGS Tajuddin, organized a medical camp at the BCG Station on Saint Martin’s Island.
According to a press release, the Coast Guard has been committed to supporting underprivileged communities in coastal and riverine areas since its inception. As part of this commitment, the Coast Guard regularly organizes free medical camps to offer healthcare services to the needy. Over a hundred individuals received medical attention and free medicines during this recent camp.
The medical camp, led by Surgeon Lieutenant Commander Naeem Hasan, demonstrated the Coast Guard’s ongoing dedication to the welfare of marginalized populations in Bangladesh’s coastal regions.
