On August 12, the Cox’s Bazar Red Crescent Unit organized a vibrant rally and a discussion session to observe the National and International Youth Day 2025.
The rally commenced Tuesday morning from the unit premises, winding its way through the city’s Holiday Mor and concluding back at the unit. Youth members of the Cox’s Bazar Red Crescent participated enthusiastically, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the event.
Following the rally, a discussion was held in the unit’s hall. The session began with youth members delivering welcome speeches. Speakers emphasized the vital role of youth leadership, humanity, and the importance of fostering positive change in society.
The event’s chief guest was Akram Ali Khan Rana, Director and Head of Operations (PMO & MRRO) at the Red Crescent. Also present were Unit Level Officer Nasrin Akter, MRRO Program Manager Keramat Ali, and many enthusiastic youth volunteers from the Cox’s Bazar Red Crescent Unit.
Speakers emphasized that the current generation is the pathfinder for the future. They underlined the importance of nurturing humanitarian values and leadership qualities among young people, enabling them to drive positive societal transformation effectively.
The program generated tremendous enthusiasm and motivation among the youth of the Cox’s Bazar Red Crescent Unit.
