Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach is teeming with tourists, taking full advantage of the weekly holiday. The beaches of Kolatoli, Sugandha, and Laboni Point were thronged with tourists from Saturday morning (January 18), creating a festive atmosphere. Many tourists enjoyed themselves by taking refreshing dips in the sea and participating in lively beach activities.

Tourism-related sources attribute the influx of visitors to the end of winter and the impending reopening of schools and colleges. This tourism surge has significantly boosted businesses catering to travelers, from food vendors to beachside shops.

To ensure visitors’ safety, officials from the District Administration’s Tourism Cell, the Tourist Police (Cox’s Bazar Region), lifeguards, and beach workers have been actively monitoring the area.

Local stakeholders are optimistic about maintaining this momentum and hope the tourist flow will continue in the coming weeks.
