The Cox’s Bazar District Police held monthly welfare and crime review meetings yesterday at the Police Lines and the Superintendent of Police’s conference room. The meetings were conducted separately, and Superintendent of Police (SP) Md. Saifuddin Shaheen presided over them.
During his speech, SP Shaheen urged all police personnel to perform their duties with courage, honesty, dedication, and professionalism. He also instructed them to take necessary measures to maintain overall law and order in their respective areas.
The meeting was attended by officials and members from various units of the district police.
Later, awards were presented to the best officers in different categories, including Best Officer-in-Charge, Best Firearms Recovery Officer, and Best Warrant Execution Officer. The awardees received crests and cash prizes in recognition of their outstanding performance.
