A derailed coach of the Cox’s Bazar Express has been successfully recovered near the outer signal of Brahmanbaria Railway Station. The incident occurred early Saturday (May 10) at around 6:00 AM, and a relief train stationed nearby promptly carried out the recovery operation, which was completed by 7:15 AM.
Brahmanbaria Station Master, Md. Jasim Uddin confirmed the development, stating that the relief train, deployed initially to recover a container train involved in a previous accident, facilitated the swift rescue.
While train movement on the up line has returned to normal, services on the down line remain suspended as of reporting.
