As Eid-ul-Fitr approaches, Cox’s Bazar is preparing to welcome a massive influx of tourists. According to tourism stakeholders, nearly 40% of rooms in the district’s 500+ hotels, motels, and guesthouses have already been booked. They expect the number to rise significantly in the coming days.

Hotel and motel authorities have announced 30% to 40% discounts to attract more visitors. Meanwhile, the district administration and tourist police have implemented exceptional security and service measures to ensure a smooth experience for travelers.

Cox’s Bazar Airport authorities have also confirmed that additional flights will be arranged to accommodate the holiday season’s visitor surge.

Lifeguards and beach workers are on high alert to enhance beach safety and ensure a secure and enjoyable tourist experience.

With all these preparations underway, Cox’s Bazar is again ready to welcome travelers, adding a new dimension to Bangladesh’s thriving tourism industry.
