Cox’s Bazar International University is set to hold its inaugural convocation on January 10, with Adilur Rahman Khan, Advisor to the Ministry of Industries and Ministry of Housing and Public Works, attending as the representative of the President.
Yesterday afternoon, the university’s founder and chairman, Lion Mohammad Mujibur Rahman, held a meeting with the chairpersons of various departments.
During the session, he delivered guidelines to the faculty to ensure the smooth conduct of the convocation, the first in the university’s history.
He also drew the attention of officials and committee heads from different university levels to coordinate their responsibilities.
The meeting was attended by prominent members of the trustee board, including Vice Chairman and columnist Mahbuba Sultana Shiuly, VC Professor Dr. Tauhid Hossain Chowdhury, Dean Professor Kazi Mustain Billah, Director (HR) Khurshidur Rahman, and Registrar Rajidul Haque, among others.
