One side of Sugandha Point at Cox’s Bazar beach had been littered with waste, mainly from seafood and souvenir vendors who disposed of garbage indiscriminately along the shore. The issue was highlighted in a report published by Cox’s Bazar Life.

On Tuesday, municipal sanitation workers were seen cleaning up the accumulated waste at Sugandha Point on behalf of Cox’s Bazar Municipality.

Previously, the foul smell from the garbage had become unbearable for tourists, leading to complaints. Following the cleanup, visitors expressed their appreciation for the initiative. They also urged authorities and locals to remain vigilant in ensuring that waste is not dumped indiscriminately in the future.
